TEMPO program highlights local artists
Friday, September 8, 2017 by Nina Hernandez
The city’s Cultural Arts Division announced its TEMPO 2017 lineup this week. It’s a program centered around bringing together the work of local artists to both beautify our public spaces and foster a greater sense of community. The city put together a group of nine installations that will be displayed around the city at parks and other city facilities. All of them will be shown together at one big show for the East Austin Studio Tour that starts Nov. 11. Take advantage of guided and self-guided tours (including one on bicycle!) of the exhibition that will be going on in some form or another through Nov. 19. Learn more about the program on the city’s website.
