Talk tackles water planning

The Imagine Austin speaker series features a conversation this week about the city’s efforts to create a 100-year plan to secure adequate water resources well into the future. “Water Forward: Planning for the Next 100 Years”
will feature a presentation from Greg Meszaros, director of Austin Water, and Sharlene Leurig, chair of the Integrated Water Resource Plan Community Task Force, followed by a discussion moderated by Austin Monitor publisher Mike Kanin. The event will take place Wednesday, Aug. 3, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the Thompson Conference Center, 2405 Robert Dedman Drive.
