Yesterday, the Austin Monitor got the very good word that our collaboration with KUT News and KLRU-TV has won the regional Edward R. Murrow award from the Radio Television Digital News Association. The award honors the series Austin’s Eastern Frontier in the “news series” category. The collaboration featured reporting from Monitor reporters Tyler Whitson and Caleb Pritchard; KUT reporters Audrey McGlinchy, Veronica Zaragovia and Kate McGee; and KLRU-TV’s Allison Sandza and Blair Waltman-Alexin. Congratulations to all on a job well done!
