Provide input on the future of Spicewood Springs Road
Tuesday, September 12, 2017 by Nina Hernandez
There’s $17 million set aside from last year’s big mobility bond for improvements to Spicewood Springs Road, specifically to the stretch between Loop 360 and Mesa Drive. According to a city press release, “Improvements have not been designed but may include expansion from a two-lane section to a four-lane divided roadway (generally match four-lane cross section east of Mesa Drive), signals, medians, sidewalks, bike lanes, and driveway reconstruction.” The public has an opportunity to weigh in on the plan at a public meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 26, at Westover Church of Christ (8322 Mesa Drive). Learn more about the possible work on the city’s website.
