It’s official: City Council will hold a public hearing on a proposed soccer stadium at McKalla Place this Wednesday, Aug. 1. According to a Monday post on the City Council Message Board from Mayor Steve Adler, Council will convene at 9 a.m. and take public comment. At 11:15, it will break for executive session until 3 p.m., when it will hear a presentation from staff, followed by Council discussion and public comment. The end time of the meeting and whether Council will hold a second meeting on the topic Aug. 7 will be decided on Wednesday.
