People’s Gallery application deadline extended
Wednesday, September 27, 2017 by Nina Hernandez
There’s still time for artists to submit their work to this year’s People’s Gallery exhibition. The Cultural Arts Division announced yesterday that it would continue taking submissions from local artists, galleries and museums through Oct. 12 (at midnight, in case any procrastinators were wondering). Selected works will grace City Hall from February 2018 all the way until January 2019. Learn more about the submission process here and email peoplesgallery@austintexas.gov with any other questions. And, in case you haven’t gotten around to it yet, you can still view the 2017 batch of artwork at City Hall until Jan. 4. Visiting hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
