Parks seeks public comment on Cemetery Rules
Thursday, October 12, 2017 by Nina Hernandez
The Parks and Recreation Department needs feedback on its draft of the city’s new Cemetery Rules. So it has scheduled two different public input sessions later this month (Oct. 23 and Oct. 26) where community members can find out what the proposed new rules are and how the city plans to fix existing compliance issues. Once these two meetings are over, the rules go to the Office of the City Clerk where the public will have a chance to weigh in once again. Then, staff’s recommendation goes to the city’s cemetery administrator for approval. Find out more about the Cemetery Rules proposal and meeting details here.
