Parking, your way
Thursday, January 26, 2023 by Tai Moses
An app called Way.com now provides a convenient method for motorists to pay for parking in Austin. The app’s search function finds nearby parking; drivers then simply enter their parking space number or license plate number, their vehicle type and how long they’d like to stay. It’s easy to extend the parking session through the app if necessary. People are already using Way for off-street parking; now the app can access on-street parking as well. According to the city’s Transportation Department, this new opportunity is “part of Austin’s efforts to make paying for on-street parking as easy and convenient as possible.”
