Opinions on city pools wanted
Monday, November 6, 2017 by Elizabeth Pagano
Earlier this year City Council created an Aquatic Master Plan Task Force in order to help digest the massive Aquatic Master Plan and help figure out next steps in the face of some really daunting challenges. That task force is now gathering community input to that end, with two more public meetings coming up this month. The first will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 1:30 p.m. at the George Washington Carver Museum. The second meeting will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 29, at 5 p.m. at the Lamar Senior Activity Center. Both meetings will help the task force finalize its recommendations, which will be made to Council in December of this year.
