Meet you on the reading porch!

Tuesday, August 8, 2017 by Elizabeth Pagano

More than four years after breaking ground, the new Central Library has a grand opening date: Oct. 28. The doors are scheduled to open at 10 a.m. In the meantime, the current downtown library, Faulk Central, will start easing its services back starting next Monday. Questions about the closing of Faulk? Austin Public Library staff will be on hand to answer questions on Facebook Live at 11 a.m. today (on the APL Facebook page) with additional question/answer broadcasts scheduled for the future.
