Maxwell services set for Saturday
Tuesday, April 5, 2016 by Jo Clifton
A memorial service celebrating the life of Environmental Commission Chair Mary Gay Maxwell will be held on Saturday, April 9, at 10:30 a.m., in the historic St. David’s Episcopal Church, 301 E. Eighth St., with the Rev. Paul Wehner officiating. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, friends consider memorial contributions to the Save Our Springs Alliance. Maxwell died March 30 when she was involved in a head-on collision outside of Smithville after her car crossed over the median on Highway 71.
