Love the one you’re getting a checkup with
Monday, September 12, 2016 by Nora Ankrum
It may not be anyone’s favorite holiday, but Take a Loved One for a Checkup Day is still much better than Go to the Doctor All Alone Day, which is something no one has celebrated ever. Meanwhile, everyone gets to celebrate the 11th annual Take a Loved One for a Checkup Day at this weekend’s health fair, where free health screenings (e.g., blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, HIV, vision, pregnancy and hearing), wellness checks, flu shots, and chiropractic and massage services will be paired with kids activities, a job fair and live entertainment. The fair takes place Saturday, Sept. 17, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Delco Activity Center, 4601 Pecan Brook Drive. We’re not saying it’s a date night, but we’re not saying it’s not a date night. Eh?
