This month, the Austin Independent School District will hold its second round of community meetings to help inform the district’s Facility Master Plan Update. According to a press release from AISD, the document will “guide the development of capital improvements and support planning for any potential bond elections.” The upcoming meetings are open houses during which staff will be on hand to answer questions and take comments from the public. Those meetings will take place on: Tuesday, Oct. 11, 6 to 8 p.m., at the Eastside Memorial High School cafeteria; Wednesday, Oct. 12, 4 to 6:30 p.m., at Burger Stadium; Thursday, Oct. 13, 6 to 8 p.m., at the Reagan Early College High School cafeteria; Friday, Oct. 14, noon to 1:30 p.m., at the Allan Center cafeteria; and Saturday, Oct. 15, 9 to 11 a.m., at the Small Middle School cafeteria and 12:30-2:30 p.m. at the Lamar Middle School cafeteria.
