Join the conversation about citizen-driven initiatives
Monday, June 13, 2016 by Kayleigh Hughes
Local organization Conversation Corps has settled on the topic of citizen-driven initiatives and citizens petitions — think the recent petition regarding the regulation of ride-hailing companies like Uber and Lyft, which led to Prop 1 — as the focus of its June conversations. These community discussions will be held at various times and locations around the city during the month of June, and City Council plans to use the input from the meetings to consider changes to citizen initiative and referendum processes. Add your voice to the conversation at one of the many meetings, which are all listed on Conversation Corps’ website.
