Although we are now a major (important!) city, Austin has retained at least some of its roots. In keeping with years past, therefore, we expect most of the city to be either out of town or at the _______ house enjoying free margaritas and _______. The Austin Monitor will continue coverage throughout the week, though it will be somewhat less robust than usual. So, to the few readers who haven’t checked out: Don’t panic! Reporter’s Notebook and our obsessive coverage of all things local will return with the rest of the city next week.
