Happy Pawlidays
Tuesday, November 22, 2016 by Nora Ankrum
This Black Friday, the Austin Animal Center is inviting Thanksgiving revelers to take their full bellies and empty wallets to the animal shelter, where all dog and cat adoptions will be free. The promotion is funded by Zappos.com, which is partnering with the Best Friends Animal Society to sponsor the Home for the Pawlidays initiative, a national pet adoption effort now in its second year. Pet adoptions will be free for four days: Friday, Nov. 25 through Monday, Nov. 28. More information is available here.
