Do you appreciate monarchs? If so, the city asks you make it official and do so on Monarch Appreciation Day, which (apparently) is this Saturday. To celebrate, there will be a day of festivities at the Zilker Botanical Gardens, starting at 9 a.m. and ending at 4 p.m. We recommend that you head over to the city website for a list of activities, which include butterfly releases and observation, the Austin Bike Zoo, dancing and something called “the Singing Zoologist,” in addition to a variety of hands-on activities for children.
