Global town hall
Friday, November 3, 2017 by Katy McElroy
On Nov. 13, the Global Business Expansion Division of the Economic Development Department is hosting a Twitter Town Hall. The event is to kick off Global Entrepreneurship Week, which a city press release describes as “a tactical education and celebration of the innovators and job creators who launch startups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare. During one week each November, GEW inspires people everywhere through local, national and global activities designed to help them explore their potential as self-starters and innovators.” The town hall will take place at City Hall from noon-1 p.m, and Twitter attendees are invited to participate via the hashtag #GEWAustin2017. Visit www.GEWATX.com for more information about other events planned for the week.
