Deadline extended for FastForward entrepreneurial classes
Monday, February 29, 2016 by Nora Ankrum
In partnership with the IC2 Institute (based at UT-Austin), the city’s Economic Development Department is offering a new series of classes for small Austin businesses looking to grow and innovate. The FastForward Entrepreneur Training Program is an intensive 12-week program that, according to an announcement from the department, “will provide the necessary theory and tools to investigate and validate market and product claims, financial models, and go-to-market strategies.” Classes will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6 to 9 p.m., April 5 through June 23. The deadline for applications has been extended from Feb. 29 to March 7. The class costs $1,000 per “two-member business team.”
