Dripping Springs working on a town center
Monday, October 9, 2017 by Nina Hernandez
The city of Dripping Springs is in currently in the early stages of creating its town center. The project, which the city is working on with Dripping Springs Independent School District and the Dripping Springs Community Library, will change the face of the municipality for the coming generations. It includes plans for a new city hall, Hays County facilities, a new library and retail spaces. The three entities are looking to build on land jointly owned by the city and the district, and the project is to be funded partially by two tax increment reinvestment zones. That’s dependent, of course, on feasibility studies currently underway. Learn more about the possibilities on the city’s website.
