Commission heads back to school
Monday, March 28, 2016 by Elizabeth Pagano
Today, the Historic Landmark Commission will hold its monthly meeting, as usual. However, it will do so in a somewhat unusual place. In celebration of the 100th anniversary of Mathews Elementary School, the commission will hold its meeting there, complete with a tour starting at 6:30 p.m. (The actual meeting will follow at 7 p.m.) In 1999, the city designated the school as a landmark.
