Comment on NHCD’s annual performance report
Monday, October 21, 2019 by Tai Moses
The Neighborhood Housing and Community Development Department has opened a 15-day public comment period for its draft Fiscal Year 2018-‘19 Consolidated Performance and Evaluation Report, or CAPER. All cities like Austin that participate in receiving a variety of grant entitlement funds annually from the federal government are required to develop a CAPER every year. According to a press release from NHCD, “The CAPER assesses the city’s progress and the effectiveness of its performance related to its federally funded activities during FY 2018-‘19, and the achievement of its overall strategies, objectives, and priorities outlined in the FY 2014-19 Consolidated Plan.” The comment period is Nov. 20-Dec. 6. During that time, the CAPER will be available on NHCD’s website for review. Comments may be emailed to NHCD@austintexas.gov.
