Code Read
Monday, September 25, 2017 by Elizabeth Pagano
As part creating new process for handling cases, the Austin Code Department is looking for your feedback. The 20-minute online survey designed to get that feedback will be open through the end of the year. The intro to that survey explains what is going on (or the “strategic direction” of the proposal). Basically, the department is looking to prioritize complaints, and the city’s response to complaints, based on the threat to public safety and the scale of the complaint. To accomplish this, Code is looking to create “C-TERM,” or a “Code Tiered Enforcement Response Matrix,” and ranking your grievances through the survey is a way to help create that matrix.
