City seeks feedback on fair housing report

The city’s Neighborhood Housing and Community Development Department is asking the community to comment on its draft “Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice,” a report about housing discrimination and increasing access to housing for protected classes. The rather lengthy document is available on NHCD’s website. The 30-day public comment period runs from March 5-April 5. There will be a presentation and public hearing scheduled for the Community Development Commission on Tuesday, March 12, at 6:30 p.m. in the Boards and Commissions Room at Austin City Hall.
