City extends proposal deadline

Nonprofit groups that are applying for Project Connect funding set aside “to reduce residential displacement and create economic mobility opportunities for people most vulnerable to displacement along Project Connect corridors” can enjoy two more weeks before they have to submit their applications. The Austin Housing Finance Corporation and the city’s Housing and Planning Department have extended the deadline for community-initiated solution proposals to June 27, and are offering two technical assistance workshops on June 3 and 10 for groups that may have questions on their applications.
