Celebrate Juneteenth

The Juneteenth national holiday, which commemorate the emancipation of enslaved people in the United States, kicks off this Saturday, June 19, with a parade starting at the corner of MLK Jr. Boulevard and Salina Street. After the parade, there’s a festival – not virtual, with real people! – at Rosewood Park featuring music, entertainment, food and local vendors.
