Celebrate F1 with a rail ride
Friday, October 20, 2017 by Elizabeth Pagano
This weekend Austin will host the 2017 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix. And if all of those cars zipping around puts you off of driving yourself, you are in luck. During F1 weekend, MetroRail will have extended hours – running from 10:20 a.m. until midnight on Oct. 21 and 22. The last train leaves the downtown station at 12:03 a.m. (Do take note that the train does not go to Leander on weekends.) More information about MetroRail schedules and Capital Metro services can be found on the transit authority’s website or by calling the GO Line at 512-474-1200.
