Bull Creek patrons need license to booze
Tuesday, August 16, 2016 by Nora Ankrum
Beware, party people: Visitors to the Bull Creek District Park and greenbelt now need a permit to possess or consume alcohol in the area. Park patrons can thank Parks and Recreation Director Sara Hensley for the new policy, which went into effect Monday. According to a press release from the city, she decided to implement the policy (as allowed by city code) because of “community concerns, increased litter, and impacts on the parkland.” More information is available here.
