Budget process set!
Friday, July 8, 2016 by Elizabeth Pagano
Though a City Council Message Board post notes that Council was unable to finalize a process before its summer break, Mayor Steve Adler and Mayor Pro Tem Kathie Tovo were able to lay down some groundwork for their return. According to the post, budget concepts will be considered up until Aug. 22. During the week of July 27, concepts can be added without sponsors. After Aug. 2, co-sponsors will be required. A majority of Council is required to remove items, and five votes are needed to move concepts forward.
