Yesterday, the Austin Water utility celebrated having reached 1,000,000 customers in a very cheery press release. Seizing the opportunity to thank utility staff and tout recent accomplishments, the statement emphasized recent advances in water resource planning, smart metering, improved infrastructure and reclaimed water.
