Application period for People’s Gallery exhibition opens

The People’s Gallery is currently taking applications for its 2018 exhibition. The period opened last week and doesn’t close until Oct. 5. Artists from throughout the region are invited to submit their work. All you’ve got to be is 18 and older, and based in Bastrop, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Hays, Travis or Williamson counties. Here’s the call to artists with all the information about how to apply and the Cultural Arts Division program guidelines. There are also two information meetings next month. The first is Sept. 16 at the Cultural Arts Division, and the second is on Sept. 23 at the Spicewood Springs Branch Library. Find out more information on those session on the city’s website.
