Dick Nichols gets a fitness station and a party

A new fitness station – paid for by savings from City Council Member Ellen Troxclair’s District 8 office – is now available to park users at Dick Nichols District Park in Southwest Austin. In celebration of the newly installed equipment, Troxclair and the Parks and Recreation Department are hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, March 5, 10:30 a.m., at Dick Nichols District Park, 8011 Beckett Road.
