Austin Monitor Radio: SAFE Alliance

Monday, August 19, 2019 by Austin Monitor

This week, Juliana Gonzales, the senior director of sexual assault services at the SAFE Alliance, sits down to talk with Austin Monitor reporter Jessi Devenyns about her work at SAFE, which is a merger between SafePlace and Austin Children’s Shelter. If you’d like to learn more beyond what you hear on our show, the alliance has its own podcast, SAFE Word, which is also available on SoundCloud.

Austin Monitor Radio is produced in partnership with KOOP 91.7 FM.

The Austin Monitor’s work is made possible by donations from the community. Though our reporting covers donors from time to time, we are careful to keep business and editorial efforts separate while maintaining transparency. A complete list of donors is available here, and our code of ethics is explained here.
