Austin Monitor Radio: Looking for the next city manager with Elizabeth Findell

Monday, November 13, 2017 by Austin Monitor

This week, Austin American-Statesman reporter Elizabeth Findell sits down with Austin Monitor freelancer Caleb Pritchard and editor Elizabeth Pagano to talk about the (sometimes very exciting) search for Austin’s next city manager. Though City Council voted to release the names of the final candidates for the position, that was only after a hot pursuit by Findell and her colleague Philip Jankowski and a couple of uncharacteristically cloak-and-dagger meetings at the airport. The Austin Monitor’s work is made possible by donations from the community. Though our reporting covers donors from time to time, we are careful to keep business and editorial efforts separate while maintaining transparency.
