Will work for coffee
Thursday, December 14, 2017 by Elizabeth Pagano
If last night’s marathon meeting over Austin Police Department contracts wasn’t enough to carry you through the holiday season, fear not. Today’s City Council meeting promises to be the traditional end-of-year quagmire. However, two of the more contentious items will be pushed off until Council returns to the dais in February. According to a post on the City Council Message Board by Mayor Steve Adler, there will be no discussion or vote on the recommendations of the Aquatic Master Plan Task Force (Item 25). In addition, talk of a soccer stadium and where it might go (Item 92) will also be postponed, shaving hours off of tomorrow’s meeting.
