‘Traffic Jam’ workshop tackles Central Texas mobility questions

The Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority and the Austin Transportation Department invite the public to the Traffic Jam! A Mobility Solutions Workshop for Central Texans on Saturday. During the morning of events, hear from Capital Metro Board of Directors Chair Wade Cooper, Mayor Steve Adler and Travis County Judge Sarah Eckhardt, among many other panelists and speakers, about the problems we face as a region when it comes to mobility and the initiatives on the table to solve them. That will include Project Connect, the Austin Strategic Mobility Plan, the Travis County Transportation Plan and other projects from neighboring counties. The event kicks off at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Bullock Museum, 1800 Congress Ave. Brownie points for those who arrive by public transportation.
