Special events event postponed

There’s been a lot of special events talk lately, what with the Hotel Occupancy Tax proposals, the Parkland Events Task Force Report and, of course, the recent movement on the Music and Creative Ecosystem Omnibus. We’re here to tell you that talk will continue at least until February, as the Special Events Ordinance (from way back in 2012) has been postponed to the Feb. 2 City Council meeting.
