South Lamar report is in

Tuesday, May 10, 2016 by Elizabeth Pagano

In news designed to appeal to a very specific segment of our admittedly specific readership, the South Lamar Boulevard Corridor Improvement Program report is in (and available online here). The report comes up in many a case in the area, in the sense of “let’s just wait until that report comes up,” so it will be our joy in the upcoming months to see how its findings are incorporated in area development. An admittedly brief skim revealed a lengthy list of proposed improvements for the road, with short-term costs at $20.4 million and long-term costs coming in at $40 million. Unsurprisingly, the recommended next step is to find funding for the myriad projects.
