Republic Square eval today and tomorrow
Wednesday, August 5, 2015 by Elizabeth Pagano
This week, as part of the city’s master planning and development of Republic Square Park, the Austin Parks and Recreation Department will be conducting “preliminary exploratory work.” On Aug. 5-6, PARD will perform a tree assessment and collect boring samples of the park. More information about the Republic Square Master Plan can be found online here. The city of Austin’s Parks and Recreation Department, the Downtown Austin Alliance, the Austin Parks Foundation and a team of consultants led by Design Workshop are working together on the plan.
