Register with this regional alert system
Thursday, August 24, 2017 by Nina Hernandez
A free emergency alert system called WarnCentralTexas is available for residents in Travis, Bastrop, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Fayette, Hays, Lee, Llano and Williamson counties. Participants register their cell phone number and email address so that they can begin to receive disaster alerts. In the event of a natural disaster, these alerts will transmit evacuation information from local emergency response teams. Register to receive the alerts, the work of the Capital Area Council of Governments, here.
