Rains break Williamson Creek bridge
Monday, June 6, 2016 by Elizabeth Pagano
The rains in Austin are taking their toll on the region. Over the weekend, structural damage from heavy rains forced the closure of a bridge over Williamson Creek. The bridge is located at 6713 Silvermine Drive and, currently, city engineers are evaluating the damage and working on plans for repairs, which will be online here once developed. In the meantime, the city asks residents to “follow all detour signs and refrain from moving barricades.”
