More public input sessions added for bond development program
Tuesday, January 9, 2018 by Katy McElroy
The Bond Election Advisory Task Force was able to collect feedback from over 1,000 members of the public through the various tools it provided in November and December. Based on this high level of interest in the bond development process, the city would now like to provide four listening sessions to continue gathering thoughts from the public on the potential bond election. At these sessions, each member of the public will be given three minutes to speak. Speakers will sign up at the beginning of the meeting. The press release also states that “a person may request that a Spanish language interpreter be made available by calling 512-974-1380 no later than 24 hours before the scheduled time of the meeting at which the person wants to speak.” The listening sessions are currently scheduled on Jan. 9, 11, 17 and 18: Find the times and locations on the bond development program website, as well as more information about the bond development process and direction.
