Pool schedule updated
Monday, June 13, 2016 by Elizabeth Pagano
Since the announcement that some city pools would have delayed openings, more lifeguards have been hired, but some pools still face delayed openings. According to a press release from the city’s Parks and Recreation Department, there are still no opening dates for Shipe Wading Pool, Stacy Wading Pool, and Civitan, Gillis, Parque Zaragoza and Springwoods pools. Northwest, Patterson, Reed, Givens and Dove Springs pools are operating with modified schedules. And Govalle, Kennemer, West Austin and Dottie Jordan pools are scheduled to open this week. Specific hours of operation and more information can be found on the city’s website.
