Pool has questions about Grove PUD
Tuesday, April 19, 2016 by Elizabeth Pagano
At the moment, if you are a certain kind of person (an Austin Monitor reader kind of person, perhaps), your social media is most likely dominated by arguments over Proposition 1 and, to a lesser extent, the Grove at Shoal Creek planned unit development. Yesterday, City Council Member Leslie Pool let her fellow Council members know that she continues to have questions about the 75-acre development on former state land. On the City Council Message Board, Pool posted a letter filed to City Manager Marc Ott about the development, which has yet to make its way through the City Hall boards and commissions process. In that letter, Pool asks staff to review several transportation concerns before the case goes before the Zoning and Platting Commission and asks that “staff (have) the opportunity to address any other outstanding items deemed necessary for a complete and comprehensive review.” The post provides a link to the letter, which can be read in its entirety here.
