Penultimate day to vote early

Thursday, November 3, 2016 by Nora Ankrum

As of Wednesday evening, with two days left of early voting, 41.31 percent of Travis County voters had already cast their ballots in the Nov. 8 election. The daily voting totals held steady yesterday, with 3.84 percent of the county’s registered voters (27,980 people) casting their ballots. That’s only a tiny bump from Tuesday’s 3.79 percent (or 27,656 voters), which means not enough people are paying heed to the appeal from County Clerk Dana DaBeauvoir to vote before the last-minute crowds hit the polls on Friday. But that’s OK – there’s still today left. Get your voting location info here and get to it.
