Ott leaving?
Tuesday, June 21, 2016 by Elizabeth Pagano
Curious about yesterday’s late-breaking news that City Manager Marc Ott might be considering a new position two days prior to his review? According to a memo sent by Ott to the City Council and Mayor Steve Adler, he was approached by an executive search firm about a year ago to gauge his interest in the executive director position for the International City/County Management Association. And, now, Ott is a finalist for that position, and will hear whether he has the job in mid July. He wrote, “this job opportunity was compelling, given ICMA’s immense impact on the practice of municipal management, which I have participated in and been a member of for over 30 years.” Stay tuned!
