Ott evaluation day still up in the air
Wednesday, May 4, 2016 by Jo Clifton
The evaluation of City Manager Marc Ott, which was supposed to conclude on Tuesday, will now be put off until at least May 18-19 and perhaps will not conclude until May 29-30. Mayor Steve Adler has found that keeping his fellow Council members together for long enough to conclude the evaluation can be tricky. There were nine members present at Tuesday’s meeting, and they could not reach agreement that all would be present for what Adler wants to be a day-and-a-half meeting — part evaluation of Ott and part retreat. The mayor has put up a list of dates on the City Council Message Board asking his colleagues to indicate which days they can be available, starting with May 18 and ending with May 30. Stay tuned…
