Manor gets a bus line

Monday, June 6, 2016 by Caleb Pritchard

Local public transit is coming to one of Travis County’s smallest towns this week. Capital Metro is launching the 470 Manor Circulator on Monday. The line will operate hourly Monday through Saturday and will connect residences with shops, services, Manor City Hall and, of course, the town’s new Walmart. The route runs through the heart of Manor on Lexington Street before jumping onto U.S. Highway 290 to finish its trip to the big-box retailer. There are five stops along the way, including one at the Manor Park-and-Ride, which provides connections into Austin on the 990 Manor/Elgin Express bus.
