Our libraries have a new leader
Friday, August 11, 2017 by Elizabeth Pagano
As of this week, Austin officially has a new director of Libraries: Roosevelt Weeks, who comes to Austin via the Houston Public Library, where he served as the deputy director of administration most recently, after a turn as chief technology officer. Weeks was also the Texas Library Association’s “Member of the Month” in February 2016. Head over to their site to learn more about him, or relish the suspense until he starts on Sept. 11.
