Let’s talk about Palm Park
Monday, May 9, 2016 by Elizabeth Pagano
Have you been following the goings-on at Palm Park? Do you have opinions? Well, the Austin Monitor has some good news, in that case. The city of Austin and the Waller Creek Conservancy want to hear what you have to say — and they are offering refreshments, to boot. According to a press release, “The Waller Creek Conservancy, in partnership with the City’s Austin Parks and Recreation Department and Austin Watershed Protection Department, is actively working to revitalize and transform Austin’s Palm Park, in conjunction with an overall vision for a restored Waller Creek parks district. Through interactive activities and small-group conversations, the Conservancy wants to learn what a vibrant Palm Park looks like to the Austin community.” And, to get that info, there will be an event on the morning of May 19 at the Waller Ballroom and another on the morning of May 21 at Parque Zaragoza Recreation Center. Many more details are available online here.
